The people of Nazareth go to the most backward area called Vanaramutti of Tirunelveli District and preach the gospel there. A wonderful church was built at Kalloorani in 1982. With the help of a missionary they carry out the missionary work. Once in three months some people go by a van and preach the gospel. Once in a year, the member of the church does this missionary work. People listen to the gospel with great interest.

It is the desire of the Nazareth youngsters to preach the gospel through the valuable books. Most of the youngsters spend their time or waste their time in going to cinema theatres can be changed by reading good Christian books. So they distributed these books to the youngsters since 17 May 1975, this youth Library was started by Rev. Immanuel Sunder Singh with the blessings of Rev. G. Israel. The Christian Youth Library was opened by Mr. Stephen in the house of Mr. Lamech. On 1 October 1975 this Library was shifted to Canon Koilpillai house and then to the house of Mr. Koleb. This Library functions from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day . At present there are many valuable books, Bible dictionaries, current magazines and Dailies in the Library. In total there are 2000 Tamil Books and 1000 English books in the Library. More than 250 members are-supporting this Library with their contributions. The main aim of this Library is to develop and increase the knowledge of Christ. Many people are benefited by this Library; a small committee under the pastorate chairman ensures proper function of the Library .

V.B.S. classes were started some 60 or 70 years ago and they are regularly conducted. The founder of this V.B.S. Margon conducted these classes with great interest along with Madam Kamala and Swingler. Children look forward to this with great joy. During the first week of May of every year these classes are held for ten days. On the final day at 8 p.m. cultural activities of the youngsters are held in front of the church. The aim of the V.B.S. is to teach the Bible .

Sunday school was started in 1964 by Rev. P. Jebamony and it was held after the church service was over. The syllabus is followed in Thirunelveli Diocesan Schools and there is separate syllabus for Beginner, Primary and Inter etc. Religious Teachers give instruction to the students. Exams arc conducted at the end of the year according to the syllabus and prizes are awarded to the winners by the Christian Educational Society. Sunday schools arc held regularly in all the Christian institutions and students benefit by this.
